Much faster and easier than mop and bucket. Overall, I like mine and am glad I bought it. I'll tell you what I learned. I've had mine for a year and a half or so. Buy the green pads not the white. Expect to replace the filter once a year. Expect to go through 4 pads a year. I'm not sure but I think Bissell has stopped making the steam mop altogether it would be good to check before buying a new one. It doesn't really sanitize unless you hold it in place for 15 seconds. The cord is a bit short.
