...but this worked great for me!! My dog has an infection on his front leg that stinks to high heavens when he pulls the bandage off. I never thought I'd get rid of the dog smell in the carpet from it, but Bissell's cleaner worked so good I was actually able to get on my hands and knees without smelling it at all! Wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't shampooed the carpet myself...Am going to get some more tomorrow and do my couches. Would highly recommend (and I have TWO dogs).Customer Review: Not too sure about this one...

I used the Bissell 9400 Steam cleaner.
My review may not be fair because I cleaned a foyer carpeting that was really dirty...not cleaned in a year.
I did it 3X & did a clean HOT water only rinse also. It is alot cleaner buttttttt there is still dirt to be seen after it dried. Is this the way it should be on a stained carpet?? I don't know but I don't think so.
When I did the LR carpeting with the Bissell pet & orange shampoo, it came out super clean. I mixed them equally. Great results.
I will do the foyer again & mix all 3 shampoos...or maybe just two, than I will edit this review & tell you whats what.

I just bought the Bissell Quicksteamer which came with a trial size of this. My carpet has not been deep cleaned for at least 3 years. The first time I used this, I followed the manufacturer's instruction on dilution and did not notice my carpet was visibly cleaner afterwards. The water it extracted was dirty though so it obviously got some of the soil out. The carpet also dried quickly, within an hour as opposed to the 4 hours it said on the manual. Although not VISIBLY cleaner, my carpet did feel softer and fluffier compared to the areas I have not cleaned yet. Excited to see if a second cleaning would show an obvious improvement, I cleaned a 2nd time and used more concentrated solution this time. Nope. Didn't look any cleaner. I dont know if it is my machine or the solution. I am looking at trying a different brand of solution. I will probably try on of those oxy ones. So far, the jury is still out on this product.
